Student Work
 

1. Student's written self-evaluation of writing skills and goals at the beginning of the project and again at the conclusion of the project. Discuss this with your teacher
2. Student Work Log
3. Original writing items in your portfolio should include: 
  • A draft 
  • Revisions
  • The final writing piece
  • 4. Copies of completed ELA CF Project lessons/learning activities
    5. Copies of any other everyday writing samples that a student wants to include

    These may be examples of writing a student has already completed. New everyday writing samples could include one or more of the following:

    • note to child's teacher
    • letter of application for a job
    • a resume
    • an original poem
    • an original drawing with title and brief description
    • a letter requesting information
    • a photograph and description of what it is
