Enid and Hester

Enid has been working with me for three years in the Adult Basic Education at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.  She is my tutor. We have grown closer over time.

We have a lot in common. We live near each other in North Adams. We like to cook for our families and take care of our cats. We both go to school at MCLA, and that is how we met each other.

We had to take time off from school for medical reasons. First, our husbands were hit by cars and we had to take care of them. Then I was in a car accident and hurt my leg.  Shortly after, Enid broke her foot in a fall. We have helped each other through bad times.

I hope that we will still be working together this summer because we know each other’s feelings and we count on each other. We are friends forever.
