Run-On Sentences



A "run-on" sentence is two complete sentences put together without using enough punctuation. Read the information. Try the practice activity and check answers.
 

Example :
Leonardo DaVinci was a great painter, he was also an inventor.

To fix run-on sentences:
 

                   Leonardo DaVinci was a great painter. He was also an inventor.
                     Leonardo DaVinci was a great painter; he was also an inventor.
                     Leonardo DaVinci was a great painter, and he was also an inventor.
