in the Sun

Young
Love
My love
no matter what you do
I'll
always go on loving you.
For
I am weak, as you are strong.
And
in my eyes you'll do no wrong.
I love
you, yes, you know I do.
So love
me just as I love you.
Rain
The
rain is raining all around and making green the trees.
It falls
to make the gardens grow and calm the angry seas.
If not
for rain there would be drought and famine to cause pain.
We thank
you Lord, in your Heaven above for bringing us the rain.
The
rain is raining all around and thunder fills the air.
The
lightning streaks across the sky and gives an eerie glare.
I sit
behind my window pane and watch the droplets flow.
Down
the glass in broad daylight they have a silvery glow.
The
rain is raining all around and sun begins to peek.
The
day gets brighter, rain slows down, and I a rainbow seek.
I see
it over a mountain high in many colors bright.
The
storm is done and now I wait for God's next show of light.
