  • Unicorns  A collection of short stories and poems written by literacy students about unicorns.

National Children's Literacy Web Site    Committed to promoting children's literacy in child care settings and in home settings, this site includes general literacy and reading tips and suggestions for simple reading activities.

Family Literacy Collection    From Midwest LINCS, this site provides resources for parenting issues, children's activities, and classroom materials. It includes sections for parents, literacy providers, and literacy administrators.

Family Literacy Resource Notebook    A resource for family literacy providers. It includes information about program organization, funding, instructional strategies, recruitment and retention, a sample curricula and parent-child activities. (NOTE: 12/15/02 according tot he Web site, this resource is being redesigned and should be available again soon.)

National Center for Family Literacy    A nonprofit organization that supports family literacy services. Publications and videos are offered for sale.  This site also includes an archive of the Literacy NIFL-FAMILY Forum listserv.
